Uep! We are Ian and Josep. We have a very clear objective: at Can Bum we break down the complexity of communication to create explosive visual identities and narratives. We accompany companies and projects with soul. People who want to think differently, brave people who are looking for brands with authentic value, both in Mallorca and abroad. We offer strategic, close and tailor-made design. Because here we believe in working side by side: in putting the chair next to you to solve the problems and turn your project into a common project.

Being a graphic designer isn't about doing things quickly, or making something pretty to hang on your wall (which we can do if you want). It's about creating visual solutions that people believe in. Letting them see your logo and think, that's always been my thing.
A logo, a brand or a project should always be yours. We will take what is yours and treat it as if it were ours.
As designers we are very clear about what we want. As a studio, we want to be a reference in the Balearic Islands: to be known for transforming challenges into innovative and unique visual solutions. Solutions that not only look good, but are noticeable, have value and work. We aspire to be that creative studio that brands choose that are brave and with real purposes. We want to demonstrate that authenticity and quality are the best option in a world where solutions are generic and artificial. That our firm is a symbol of:

What is the creative process like?
At Can Bum we don't just pull ideas out of a top hat. Our process has 4 clear phases to ensure that the result works:
- We get to know each other (Briefing): We sit down (or have a virtual coffee), you tell us what you need, who you are and where you want to go.
- Research and Creation: This is where we lock ourselves in "the cave." We analyze the market, look for references and begin to design the strategy and the brand.
- Presentation of proposals: We present you with the winning options. We don't just send you a PDF and that's it; we explain it to you so you understand the "why" of each decision.
- We polish the details and deliver: We choose the best option and, if necessary, make the necessary adjustments (renovation) until it is perfect. Finally, we prepare all the files for you so that you can use them from minute one.
Do we only design brands?
No! A logo alone is not enough. At Can Bum we create complete brands. This means that we don't just give you the drawing; we help you apply it to the real world. We advise you throughout the process and, if you want, we also take care of the production.
We have a printing and signage service, so we can bring your brand from the screen to reality (paper, vinyl, clothing...) without you having to worry about anything.
How many proposals can we submit?
We work with quality, not quantity. We usually present a maximum of 3 or 4 proposals. Why? Because before showing you anything, we have already done the filtering. We don't want to overwhelm you with 20 mediocre options; we prefer to show you 3 that we know work, that have a strategy behind them and that meet your objectives. And then we correct what we have.
If we talk about other projects, such as signage or a brochure, it's different, but we will work in direct contact with you so that you like the final proposal. Your success is ours.
What do we need to get started?
The most important thing: trust and clarity. We need you to explain your project well to us (your values, who you want to sell to, what you like and what you don't). The more information we have at the beginning, the sharper the shot will be. Oh! And if you already have things done or ideas in your head, they are also useful for us to know where NOT to go or what we can take advantage of.
Apart from branding, what else do we design and print?
Basically, anything that can have your logo on it. If it can be designed, we do it. If it can be printed, we do it too.
- Corporate stationery: Cards, folders, envelopes, letters...
- Advertising: Flyers, posters, signs, canvases.
- Editorial: Presentation dossiers, catalogs, magazines, restaurant menus.
- Large format and Signage: Vinyl for windows, vehicle signage, signage.
- Merchandise: T-shirts, tote bags, uniforms...
- Digital: Web design, banners, templates for social networks.
